Scartate la vecchia idea di rock band ed entrate nel mondo dei MOON SHOT, dove l’intuizione e l’esperienza sostituiscono il caos giovanile come elemento che porta al grande rock’n’roll. Questa è musica senza tempo che si adatta perfettamente ai tempi in cui viviamo. Le melodie sfacciatamente rock sono grandiose e i temi colpiscono in profondità.
La band rock finlandese firma ora un contratto discografico mondiale con Reaper Entertainment. Il chitarrista e mastermind Jussi Ylikoski commenta: ”Questo è un passo da gigante per i Moon Shot. Le persone che stanno dietro alla Reaper hanno dimostrato la loro dedizione e la loro capacità di costruire e portare le band a nuovi livelli. Sono oltremodo entusiasta di questa collaborazione!“
Il bassista Henkka Seppälä aggiunge: “La pandemia è stata dura per tutti i musicisti, ma d’altra parte ci ha anche dato il tempo di iniziare a creare le canzoni per il secondo album, che si è rivelato così potente che sorrido ancora quando ci penso. Quando un mio vecchio amico – Flori della Reaper Entertainment – è tornato da me dicendomi: ‘Che ne dici di lavorare con noi?’. Sono rimasto sorpreso, ma poi, rendendomi conto di quanto la nostra musica avesse toccato i ragazzi della Reaper, la cosa ha avuto assolutamente senso!“.
Flori Milz (fondatore e amministratore delegato di Reaper Entertainment) commenta: ”Quando ho sentito parlare per la prima volta dei Moon Shot, qualche anno fa, ho subito offerto il mio aiuto a Henkka. Da allora ho seguito la band e ho osservato con curiosità il suo sviluppo. Così, quando qualche mese fa Henkka mi ha inviato le nuove canzoni, sono rimasto un po’ sorpreso – ma ero felice della sua fiducia. Ero totalmente entusiasta di quello che ho sentito e l’ho inoltrato direttamente ai miei due compagni d’armi, anch’essi totalmente entusiasti. Siamo molto felici che la band abbia firmato con noi. Non è la tipica band Reaper, perché non è metal – ma è comunque musica con cuore e anima – e questo è ciò che rappresentiamo anche noi“.
