Biografia
I started playing guitar when I was about 10 years old inspired by Jason Becker, my parents had one at the house and I took lesson for a while. Around that time, I got my first Megadeth album (I think it was "Rust in peace"). So I bought a cheap acoustic guitar at a garage sale - and noodled with it for a bit and soon after. At this time I was getting into bands like AC/DC Black Sabbath and Cacophony. Jason Becker had an extremely big influence on me. I loved how he incorporated classical influences into his playing. I started to practice a lot, taking jazz guitar lessons as well as some classical guitar and audio engineering lessons. I spent many late nights sitting by my tape player, learning and jamming along with these albums. Not long after, I discovered two other guitarists that would have a really big influence on me – Yngwie Malmsteen and Richie Kotzen. That first "Motherhead Family Reunion" album was another big influence on me. I still consider Becker, Kotzen, Hendrix and Yngwie as my main influences, but there are a few others that add a lot to the way I approach the guitar and music - players like Greg Howe, Fabrizio Leo, Paul Gilbert, Alan Holdsworth, Frank Gambale, John 5, Guthrie Govan to name a few.
I spent a lot of time listening to music and studying books on composition and orchestration (I still do that). And of course... I still was into the heavy stuff - (a peek in my CD player revealed some Sabbath, Pantera, and so on). Throughout High School I played in alot of bands, always seeking out good players to jam with. In the early 2000 I was in a band called Motorace; it was cool for a while, but things eventually started to fall apart. At the time, I had an small eight-track recorder and some gear at my apartment and I began writing and recording some ideas I had been noodling with - mostly instrumental guitar stuff. Enrolled in the Music Academy of Castellanza, I met singer Fabio Andriani and together we formed the nucleus of the Werewolves, adding bassist Roby Alberio with Franco Fioriti drumming. This experience marks deeply my musical growth and my future artistic choices.
I record with Werewolves a demo album, which is followed by an intense live activity.
In 2008, I started studying Languages at University.
