HATCHERY stand for uncompromising Thrash Metal!
Four Heavy Metal fans to whom music is more than just a hobby! One year after their formation, they already recorded their first demo "Night Time Greys" (2004) and in 2005 the successive demo "Distorted Society" on their own. These two records
still had strong Death Metal elements but this changed when Zottel took the micro over from Ingo. 2006 their live activities expanded and HATCHERY was able to convince throughout Germany as well as in the Low Countries or France.In the summer of 2007, the first full length album "Birth Of A Bomb“ was recorded in the Kohlekeller studios. Being in their element, HATCHERY prove that traditional Thrash Metal doesn't have to sound dowdy and can even inspire in combination with modern sound. With this record in the background, they had gigs with Cavalera Conspiracy, Holy Moses, Primordial, Wolf, Cage, Legion Of The Damned, Fueled By Fire,Bonded By Blood, Gama Bomb, Sacred Steel, Necronomicon and others. At the end of 2008, a professional video clip for the song "Birth Of A Bomb" was shot and HATCHERY were able to show that it is possible to find new ways in the underground, far away from the industry.
At the end of 2009 HATCHERY thrashed in their second album „Forced To Fight“, which has more diversions than "Birth Of A Bomb". HATCHERY represent energy and fun and are able to communicate this to their audience! These four Metal Heads are deep-seated in the scene and know how to present their music with passion!

Forced To Fight
Inossidabili paladini del thrash metal suonato alla vecchia maniera, i germanici Hatchery sono sulla cresta dell’onda da quasi un decennio; Forced To Fight, vero e proprio manifesto delle sonorità old school, è il secondo album del quintetto proveniente da Mannheim: gli ingredienti sono ormai consolidati, ma non mancano elementi di innovazione sapientemente innestati su di un tessuto stilistico che guarda con ammirazione alle storiche gesta di affermati connazionali della band quali ad esempio Destruction o Kreator. Ed è un tripudio di aggressività, ritmiche serrate e potenza devastante quanto si sprigiona dai solchi di assalti frontali quali Under One Flag, Tongues Of Decay o dal manifesto programmatico Thrash Metal Union, in pratica un inno che tratteggia alla perfezione la filosofia artistica degli Hatchery, così come di legioni di altre agguerrite formazioni per le quali il tempo sembra essersi arrestato all’epoca dei gloriosi anni Ottanta. Un monumento di coerenza ed integrità: imperdibili!
